          Last weekend was spent road-tripping with my boyfriend to Michigan.  Manistee (here) was one of our stops.  Manistee has an adorable old downtown, that I wish I had pictures of, but I don’t.  There are tons of little shops and restaurants like many other towns along the lake in Michigan.  They also have a lighthouse.  Although, it’s not my favorite Michigan lighthouse, it still got my attention.  

          This was the third outfit I wore on the trip.  It’s incredibly light and great for all things beach related.  The shorts are from Zara.  I love the pleated details on the sides.  They look really cool when the wind blows.  They match perfectly with this top I got from Forever 21 in NYC.  Something I have to say about the top is that it has the absolute perfect cut.  I bought this bracelet a few years ago when I went to Michigan with my family.  I thought the nautical theme would be appropriate to wear here.
