Altun Ha Mayan Ruins, Belize
The second destination on my trip was Belize. I have been wanting to go there for years, not really sure why but it’s a really beautiful country. I hope to go back sometime in the near future because there is so much that I didn’t have time to do. There are beaches, amazing snorkeling, cave tubing, waterfalls, The Great Blue Hole, and much more. I was supposed to go cave tubing but since there has been a lot of rain lately, the caves were flooded. Instead I went to the Altun Ha Mayan ruins. This is the second Mayan site that I have visited, but much more impressive than the first.
Since I got sun burned the previous day, I wanted to wear a shirt with sleeves to cover up a bit. This one came from Topshop somewhat recently. I paired it with these faux leather shorts and these super comfortable sandals. I thought the shorts might be kind of warm to wear but they ended up being really breezy because they are kind of stiff.
