          I’d like to introduce to you the first piece of many from my S/S15 collection from Blossom Brigade.  I’m showing you this one first because it was the first one that I made.  This collection consists of mostly satin pieces.  It’s kind of an odd concept but I think satin looks really cool in the sun.  I also like how it can look totally casual or be easily dressed up.  For this top, I wanted to do something with giant sequins.  I haven’t seen anything quite like this before.  I designed a top with huge sequins when I was in High School but never made it.  I always kept that idea in the back of my mind and when I was thinking of designs, I thought it would be cool for Spring.  The star shape was inspired by studs on a purse that I own.  It’s slightly cropped/boxy silhouette is really fun.  I’m wearing a size small, in case you are wondering about fit.  It will be for sale near the end of this week.
