Crater Lake and Columbia River Gorge

Crater Lake National Park

Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area

The last stops on out trip to the Northwest were Crater Lake and Columbia River Gorge.  Both were amazing of course! Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the U.S.  It’s almost twice as deep as lake Superior! It is so strange to be up and the top of a volcano and be looking down into a lake that goes that far down.  It’s really surreal and super blue.  It’s kind of hard to describe being there because it doesn’t feel real for some reason.  Columbia River Gorge is just an area along the Columbia River that has tons of waterfalls.  This includes the tallest one in the contiguous U.S.  That’s the one with the arched bridge in front of it.  They were all beautiful.  This trip was definitely on my top 10 list of best vacations!  Now back to my regular outfit posts I suppose.
