Death Valley

          One of the days that we were in Vegas it was a little bit chilly.  We decided to drive a few hours to California, to visit Death Valley National Park.  Death Valley is a huge desert park with many different terrains.  It is the hottest and driest place in North America, a perfect place to visit when the weather is chilly in Vegas.  It’s a good place to keep in mind if you come across a cold day in Las Vegas, especially if you like salt deserts, sand dunes, canyons, cliffs, and mountains.  I drove right past the park the first time I went to Las Vegas several years ago, but didn’t get a chance to stop.  I’m really glad we went this time.  I wore these new shorts from H&M that I got on sale for $5.  They are cute and comfy.  They are perfect for hiking around in a hot desert.
